Pensions

The State Contributory Pension is at present paid from the age of 66
(However it is to be increased to age 68 by 2028)
The personal rate is €230.30 per week.

Can you afford to let your income drop to this amount per week and are you willing to wait until AGE 68 TO RETIRE

It is very important to consider your retirement options as early as
possible. The longer you wait to start your pension, the more of your income you will have to invest to achieve your retirement goals and this could greatly affect your goal to retire early.
